The Friendship Club provides a weekly opportunity for local residents over the age of 40 to get together to play bingo and have a chat with others over a nice cup of tea. There is also an option for members to cook their own lunch in the Community Kitchen, with a different recipe learnt each week.
In addition to the weekly bingo and cookery sessions, the group plan and organise trips throughout the year, have an Easter Bonnet parade, and a Christmas lunch.
The Friendship Club is led by a dedicated Users Group of which the members are all volunteers giving their time freely to ensure the group runs smoothly.
